Opal explains it so nicely. Then Earl, whom I sometimes think his brain doesn’t know what his mouth is saying, blows it in one sentence.

Earl is right, though, as is Opal. Earl is just not very sensitive.

Nobody’s stated they hate the sight of blood. I’d rather watch open heart surgery than someone getting cataracts removed.

The sooner Nelson learns to ignore Grandpa, the better off he’ll be.

I have an app on my phone which measures your heart rate by placing your fingertip over the camera lens. Before anybody says anything, I will always take professional medical advice over an app. I just think it’s an interesting app and I like using it.xxx

Not as bad as also having your retina taken out when it’s detaching 75% and scraping off all the scar tissue and then reattaching it.

I had my cataracts removed. No problems, little pain. Now my wife – well, you don’t want to hear about the removal of her first cataract. “TMI, TMI” would be the refrain.

Anybody else see last week’s “Vet School” episode where they took the eyeballs out of a blind cow?

At least Earl didn’t use big words like “gangrene” to describe the effects of circulation being denied to a digit. Gangrene necessitates amputation, another big word.
