I’m all for humane traps, but one of those but be suicidal in this case.

That’s a great trap… Once he’s in he can’t turn around.

Liverlips,Your comment reminds me very much of the Gilligan’s Island episode in which the crew disguised themselves as a dragon, and tried to scare the women out of their self-made hut. Ginger caught sight and sound of what they were planning, and told Mrs. Howell and Mary Ann what they could expect soon. “Let’s kill it!” they said loudly, as the fake dragon arrived in their area. They weren’t one bit afraid of it, and started clobbering it, until the crew revealed themselves.
