St Louis tried the open minded angle for a while. We had Curtis and Candorville for a short time. Now the only black person in the comics is the young lady in Prickly City. The reason she gets to stay is because it’s a republican comic. I’m waiting for them to pull Funky Winkerbean. Maybe they haven’t noticed that Les is married to a black chick. Shhhh whatever you do don’t tell them.
