They should be right at home. Kissimmee was what the locals called their town in 1883. They named it that, because the Indians called it Casema, which means “brother-can-you-spare-a-dime” in their language. The fact that the white men called Casema “Kissimmee” suggests the Penny’s are going to be right at home with their descendants. .Kissimee’s early economy was based on steamship building. But the industry failed when the railroad came in and they couldn’t get the steamships to run on the tracks. They then became the first crooked peddlers of swamp land to dolts. The Penny’s won’t be in danger, since the swamp land peddling industry failed in the Panic of ‘93 when the dolts all went broke. The area was eventually saved when Walt Disney World was built nearby. Having been saved by Disney World meant that the value of Kissimmee municipal bonds became tied to the minimum wage. Kissimmee is also home to the Houston Astros training camp. It was chosen for the camp because coaches found that after a summer in Kissimmee, coaches could motivate players by telling them, “Youse had better bat good, or yer gonna get fired and havta go live in Kissimmee.” .It sounds rather shameful that one of the reasons the Penny’s settled on Kissimmee is that, like Crustwood, Kissimmee has no Black population. The reasons for the lack of color in both Kissimmee and Crustwood has been explained by scientists as being caused by a flaw in the evolution of horses. The wild ones simply aren’t strong enough to drag them to either town. .There are at least nine buffets in Kissimmee, including (swear to God) Buffet City. The Penny’s will hit them all, including the aforementioned Buffet City, of which one reviewer said, “While I was eating I kept smelling urine I don’t know why.” Perhaps the Penny’s were in town..Burl and Joy will stay at the Tropicana Motel and will likely return with some tales of adventure, since one reviewer said of the Tropicana that their room phone “received several phone calls throughout the night, it was someone saying they had the money and we better have the stuff or else…” (I do NOT make this stuff up.) .They will also have the fake Disney World tickets they bought at the roadside booth in Kissimme so they could “avoid the lines.”

That explains why the floors are always sticky. (Not that I’ve been to one)Is that why Arabian Nights closed? The Pennys went there and ate them out of food? Joy needs a huge bag to put in those extra rolls in . They are stale anyway.The AUCE shrimp is bad also they don’t put it on ice to keep cold. As with a lot of their food, all room temp.

Burl’s T-shirt message reflects the wisdom that ever pours from his mouth..Still, no Scarecrow from Oz (or somewhere b/t Munchkinland & Oz) is he: THAT guy could at least recite the Pythagorean Theorem and experience “joy” and “rapture”.

Since Crustwood is in southern Illinois, any place in Florida would be an improvement this time of year…. ! ! !

Good. Stay in Kissimmee. I don’t want to see them on the beach. (high of 85 degrees here today)

I finally understand the new Find-It paradigm. Before, you were given a really lame Find-It to find. Oh, gee. A triangle. However will I know a triangle when I see one?.Now you have to find the Find-It without the simple-minded Find-It clue. And it’s not easy.For instance, today you’d probably guess that it was the happy face or whatever on Marlene’s coffee cup. And you’d be wrong. It’s a sort of spiral thingee that was on the part of the imitation chocolate chip cookie before Joy took a bite. I found it. I win. Loser. You should have gotten here before she ate it.
