In some places, there is a day called ‘Small Business Saturday" following Black Friday. This is an effort to support local mom-and-pop type businesses that can get overlooked during the holiday shopping spree, and that might not have an online presence. If you have an opportunity to support a great local business on Saturday, please do that. They are actually a great source of jobs, and we don’t want to lose small unique businesses and have nothing but identical big box stores…

I’m waiting for the NBA to begin organizing “Professional Shopping Leagues” to “Hit the Stores” for various “Sales” events..The “Black Friday Tipoff”.
The “iPad – iPod World Series”.
The “Star Trek Scrimmage”.
The “Star Wars Mud Wrestle”..WalMart Shoppers would finally be able to compete for the Glory they deserve.
