That’s cheating.According to Steve Martin, speaking to John Candy in Planes, Trains and Automobiles, the key to winning egg battles is this:“And by the way, you know, when you’re telling these little stories? Here’s a good idea – have a POINT. It makes it SO much more interesting for the listener!”

One of those eggs is dark. What is it a duck egg or something? I knew something had to be up. Those altar boys stole those eggs right out from under a mother hen.
If you strike with your egg hitting closer to its point, you stand a better chance of surviving the collision and seeing your friend’s egg crack while yours remains intact. They are structured to withstand more pressure from the pointy end. So, moral of the story, press your point and take your opponent broadsides, where he is weakest.
Those appear to be the kokkina avga of the tsougrisma in a country of my acquaintance. But, there, cheating is not necessary in the exchange of Easter greetings….

Boys. What dirty little beasts. Imagine, playing with eggs instead of cleaning out the garage or sorting the recyclables for pickup.
