Poncho: What are the criteria behind this potential adoption?
Mother: Well, I imagine things like charm, energy, visual appeal...
Whitey: Why do you keep standing next to me?
Poncho: You're imagining things.
Porcho’s litter is great. Where’s the lipsticked punky instigator? I hope this goes on for a bit before they get adopted and then maybe we can follow them? Wishful thinking..I know this is about Poncho. Yes, “I love you Poncho, Oh yes I do…I love you Poncho, and I’ll be true”….
Nocturna emerged from the shadows, played her part, and then returned to the shadows.
When first Orlando showed up a while back, I got the impression that Poncho hadn’t maintained ties with his family. So I’m not really expecting the rest of the litter to play much of a role once Chazz comes along (of course, anything’s possible). I really enjoy the littermates as well, and I’ll miss them when Porcho gets adopted, but it’ll also be nice to have Poncho have his first meetings with the familiar characters.
Still, having introduced the siblings, it would be certainly possible (and likely) to reintroduce them from time to time once we get back to our regular timeline. We’ll get the “Where are they now?” stories, and those might even be more effective if we just get glimpses of them as pups.
(And I certainly hope that Whitey survives, poor little fella… It’d be be a real downer if he kicks it.)
Who knows, pirate? Teddy Roosevelt was a very sickly child, and that’s partly what motivated him to be so robust later in life. Whitey at two might turn out to be a total badasssss…..

Keep standing next to him, Poncho; he makes you look great by comparison.

Coming up with this storyline is brilliant.
I love it. Thanks Paul Gilligan.

Um, what are those ‘things’ being juggled in the second frame? Or don’t I want to know?

Those are Kibbles being juggled. Careful, Porcho, Whitey might be contageous.

Whitey is fine. He lives in my house’s back bedroom which is furnished with non-allergenic upholstery and a Hepa-filtered air machine.
Long live the underdog.
