Duke: What I want you to consider, Stan, are all the advantages of conducting your MDMA research right here on our lovely Baby Doc campus! Among other things, you could synthesize your compounds in total safety, far from the long hair arm of U.S. justice! Honey: But, sir, do we have the right facilities here, the elaborate set-up required for purifying pharmaceuticals? Duke: Oh, hell, Honey, all he needs is an old garbage can. Stan: Carefully sterilized, of course.

In the last frame, the olive moved from Duke’s glass to the other bald guy’s glass. Is the olive a symbol for thought, action and responsibility and thus similar the expression “the ball is in your court” or is GT just messing with us?

“carefully sterilized, of course” Like my ‘made in India/Philippines/offshore generic medicals’ are ‘compounded’ and substituted for the ‘real thing’ as ‘recommended’ by my HMO.

It’s the Hefty Bag residue that gives it it’s unique psychotropic zing.

I definitely love the detail in GT’s work. After Satansspawn pointed out the olive, I started really looking & that’s when you see in the 3rd panel when Honey speaks, Stan’s eyes look in her direction and his arm changes position into a reactive pose. But all is well by the end.

Just so long as the government can’t negotiate and America has to pay MSRP for medications it’s ok.
