I think the reason Eno was so hostile to the Carolers is, he must have worked in retail and had to listen to an endless loop of carols during November and December. That’s what happened to my youngest daughter.

Cardboard works for me. Cut up a cardboard box and before storing them, wrap the light strings around the cardboard.
