It amazes me that facts like the camel one aren’t universally known by now.

So Simmons went from educating children to entertaining teenagers and grown-ups with music children shouldn’t be listening to? Whoa.

I’ve never noticed it. Maybe I’m different. Seems to me I am always aware of what’s around me even when I’m not thinking about it.

Another case where Ripley’s oversimplification creates misinformation. You spend 40 minutes a day with your eyes open yet effectively blind:

It’s not that your eyes aren’t working. Your mind is actually blocking images all the time, and refusing to process them. Whenever your eyes move, your brain doesn’t process what would normally be very dizzying blurry images coming from the retina. To fill in the gaps of time, your brain creates an illusion for a fraction of a second to keep us from noticing. This is called “Saccadic masking” and it keeps us from experiencing motion blur.

Yes, if you want someone to the right of Donald Trump. He is an embarrassment to so many.@Meowlin, how did you get to Ron Jeremy from that list??? Famous entertainers who were teachers? Walk me through your logic. Ronald Jeremy Hyatt is well known but not in that field.
