This actually happened to me! I had a 1978 Chevy Chevette That I drove and used in SCCA rally events. (yea I know kinda sad) I ran across it in 1992 in a junk yard, still had all my stickers on it so I knew it was my car.
This is one plugger who wishes he had some of his first cars! Some would be wonderful to drive around in today: 1960 Plymouth Belvedere, 1963 Rambler Classic 770, 1964 Ford Galaxie, 1969 Ford XL convertible, etc.
One of my favorite sites to visit is Bringatrailer.com! I first heard about it from Jay Leno on one of his Jay Leno’s Garage episodes. It is one of the sources he uses to find interesting older cars.
Although there is a lot of current stuff there, you do find some very interesting old vehicles; some are already restored, some are in process, and some are only for the most devoted collectors.
You can go there by clicking HERE! It is worth a visit, especially if you are a car guy (or gal) as I am! Who knows, you might just fall in love again…

Kinda sad when the old car starts looking better to you than the current car.
