I hear you in my ear. I know that you are near. Your voice just haunts my sleep. I want to touch you. You're always in my mind. And when you're here I find I want to grab my shoe and reach out and touch you. Your landing is so light but now so is your bite. You really burrow in. I want to mash you. If I could time it right I'd roll a paper tight. I'd turn you right to goo. Mosquito in the night.

If I had a time machine, I’d go back to the ’70s and buy a bunch of Shell No-Pest Strips. Those things really worked. Unfortunately, they had a lot of dangerous side-effects.

Shell No-Pest is unavailable, but the gummy strip is still around. Takes a bit of tolerance of the corpse collection, but does thin the swarm. Maybe a bug-zapper nightlight?

There’s a dozen on my cousin, I can hear those mothers buzzin!
