Now that she’s gone short, I bet she’ll never go back. I had waist-length hair through my sophomore year of college, got it cut to shoulder length and then to about the length Abby has - and I would NEVER grow my hair out again. It’s so much easier to take care of and I save a mint on hair care products! Plus she looks adorable with short hair.
My wife had her hair down to the middle her back when she was younger. Cut it on the same excuse that it was easier to care for. Meaning easier to wash, detangle, condition. But she has the constant thing of changing STYLES and likely wastes as many hours looking up a new style or trying to get the hair dresser to cut it the right way once she finds a style.
I loved the hair. I miss it. But I married the woman, not the hair. Though ti never gave me the arguments the woman does.

“Locks for Love” didn’t provide conversation in reality for long either.

I’m looking forward to it growing back. How else will she defend herself against that bully on the other soccer team?
