Getting kinda late. To be any good, should have made it about Thanksgiving and had it setting in the fridge, absorbing the spirits you periodically pour onto it.

I’ve never actually had fruit cake before, wonder if its any good.

The truth is, there is only one fruit cake in the world. It just keeps getting recycled. I know, old joke.

I love fruitcake if I can put enough bourbon on it!

I love fruitcake, especially the Carrot Cake Fruitcake I make. Delicious.

Just make sure that you use a good quality candied fruit that doesn’t have too much citron peel. That stuff has a waxy taste and cheap brands have too much because it’s less expensive than the other ingredients.

You can buy doorstops cheaper at a hardware store.
