Thinking about it, does the tree even notice, much less care? It has a century to look back on, and a century ahead of it, unmoving, in every kind of weather. Other than a lightning strike or a lumberjack, what would offend a tree? People – and the occasional dog – would be no more to it than a passing firefly. (At least the dog is helping to water it!)
Okay, way too deep for this early in the morning…I’ll get another cuppa.
One of my uncles told me about a dog a sergeant in his outfit had. It would pee on every officer it could find. Left the Non Coms and enlisted men alone.

I betcha Roscoe always peed that same tree every day! How can the tree tolerate after the dog pees at too much? Eww! Poor thing on tree!

Perhaps Roscoe has the most respect for the tree. Water and fertalizer to help it grow. He’s the only one caring for it….
Ok, maybe I’m pushing it a little too far, but I had to try.
