In case anybody was wondering about Marlene’s cooking….
I asked her for her recipe for Salisbury steak, to share with you lucky readers.
Ingredients:
2 packages Swanson’s Hungry Man Salisbury Steak dinner.
Marlene’s special extra ingredients:
1 slice American cheese.
Chocolate sauce.
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Remove film from each brownie. Cut slit in film over each remaining item.
3. Place 2 trays on baking sheet on middle oven rack. Cook 35 minutes.
4. Carefully remove baking sheet from oven.remove film from potatoes, and stir.
Marlene’s special touch: while hot, cover each potato serving with 1/2 slice American cheese.
Pour 1-2 tbsp chocolate sauce on each brownie.; let dinners stand on baking sheet 1 to 2 minutes.
Extra special touches for Dale’s birthday:
Remove all film before serving.
Put 1 candle in Dale’s brownie.
Serve with birthday cake ordered from Crust Foods.
Isn’t that special?
