For 11 or 12 years I was the California equivalent of an âElection Judgeâ.
I was what we call a âPrecinct inspectorâ⊠in charge of a polling place with several âClerks.â
It was a long, tiring, underpaid day⊠6:30 am to about 10 pmâŠ.
actually, plus several hours on two other days, as well.
Â
So I can tell you, BurlâŠ
If you ask nicely, and weâre not running low, you can have 4 stickers, or 6âŠ
no one has ever asked, but we give them to children who come in with their voting parents, so what the heck.
Â
What you canât do is re-vote.
People donât understand that every ballot, voted on or unused, is checked, re-checked, and accounted for, by pad and serial number, which takes at least two hours after the polls close, even in my tiny precinct.
We count everything beforehand as wellâŠ. and we donât throw away any stubs, so the county officials can do it again.
Our sign in sheets are cross referenced by address and lists of absentee voters⊠if you got a ballot in the mail you canât vote at the polls, except on a provisional ballot thatâs checked against mailed ones for duplication.
Unsigned absentee ballots⊠which we now call Vote-by-Mail cos you donât need an excuse⊠and ones where the signatures donât match the one on file, are also rejected⊠itâs like visiting your safe deposit box.
Â
So stop with the stories of dead and duplicate votersâŠ. itâs just political hype and nonsense.
Yes, in some states they have found dead people and criminals on the VOTER LISTS.
But their BALLOTS, presumably voted by imposters, are caughtâŠ. they donât make it through to be counted.
Thatâs why they know the attempted fraud occurredâŠ. because it was thwarted.

Burl is voting for someone different this time than the person he voted for last month. Heâs getting his moneys worth for his vote!
