Hobby Lobby is closed on Sundays so employees can go to church. But, while it was open on Wednesday evenings, the founders belong to a church that had Wednesday evening Bible study. The founder’s son owns Mardel’s, a Christian book and educational supply store. The Mardel store used to also close at 6:00 PM on Wednesdays so employees could go to church. When I asked about the change, the clerk said, "Some employees were not going to Bible study. So, they changed it.
Had an ex who would insist on going with me to the craft store, even though I told him it was okay to leave me shopping alone, go look at other stores, shouldn’t be too long, etc. Nope, had to come with. Then would kick at the back of my shoes and generally pout. Yeah, leave the Burl at home ladies, you will enjoy your self a lot more.
