And there is no industry standard. Men have it easier in some ways. Jeans are sized by waist and inseam measurement, and when sizes are used, size charts are readily available. But I also know which shirts are properly sized and which aren’t and which jeans are really as they are labeled. Again, price matters.
But what they’re really saying is that Burl’s ecstatic about modern elastic. And fortunately for Burl, there’s no butt sizing.
