I once heard a MD say “I can mumble magic words, wave feathers and blow smoke on a patient’s sprained ankle and it’ll be better in a week. Or I can give him the the latest medical treatments and it’ll be better in seven days.” Sometimes the witch doctor approach is as good as any.
