@LeadingEdgeI don’t believe the methane releasing flatulence is the problem. It is the amount of energy consumed producing feed for all the livestock, and the potential crop land taken out of circulation.

So they’re not going in order? I thought they’d start with the strips where Susie was introduced. Heck, I was thinking they’d start with the strips where Calvin first trapped Hobbes. I guess they didn’t go way back to the beginning with this one.

The methane released by animals is part of a closed loop cycle. Grass grows, absorbing carbon. Animal digests grass, releasing carbon. The net effect is nil.

I can’t tell if she stormed off in disgust or ran away in disgust, like when Calvin told her the riddle about slugs and boogers.
