Yep, just like wanted posters in the post office, my picture is up in every greenhouse from Prince Edward Island to the Baja Peninusula, and from British Columbia to the Florida Keys. If it grows in the ground, I can kill it. sigh.
Orchids usually die from over-care. They thrive on neglect. I water mine about once a month, if I remember. And about this time of year, they surprise me with blooms. I also have some terrestrial orchids outside which aren’t supposed to survive this far north. They do, with gusto. From three or four small plants, they have taken over half of a flower bed.
