So, if someone is constantly lying about the reasons for pushing stricter laws, doesn’t it make sense there is another reason for pushing those laws? It is simple. Gun control doesn’t work. I know it. Obama knows it. The gun control nuts know it. So what is the point? What is the logical next step if you try all the different gun control laws and they don’t work?

So criminals who by definition don’t obey laws are going to be deterred by more laws..Could this be considered stupid on purpose?

What’s hilarious is that much of the EO, like hiring more people to keep crazies from getting guns is what the NRA has been calling for!

“NRA spokesman Andrew Arulanandam said beforehand that the group saw “no reason to participate in a public relations spectacle orchestrated by the White House.” ".The NRA’s response to the President’s invitation to face-to-face debate at a town meeting, located near the NRA offices. This response certainly demonstrates the NRA’s, AND ITS MEMBERS, utter disregard for the laws and problems of the country

Tom: the NRA response just proves their contempt for the real Constitution, and the SCOTUS, as in “DC vs Heller” when even Scalia wrote that having a gun IN THE HOME was in accordance with the Second Amendment, just as going OUT of your house, “well-regulated” and the power and duty of the government to assure that if you’re on the street with a gun, regulation is REQUIRED.
