Cynthia gets so much grief for being smart. When I taught, I loved kids like her. With just a little creative channeling of those energies, they made it better for everyone.
I’m not entirely clear on the “classic” claim by Cynthia and making fun of her teacher’s pronunciation…unless there was a time (or place) when/where such (mis)pronunciations took place. Hwait, hwat?
