I’m the organist and pianist in my church and we have sort of a hybrid service where I play half hymns and half contemporary Christian music. We use to have two services but there were so few people at the contemporary one so we just combined them.
Although you can’t please every one, it seems to be working so far.

The problem is, of all the good modern Christian music, church bands decide to play the worst songs. It’s rather sad.

I think there’s a church like this somewhere in Germany.
Standing room only.

These days popular music is “2 turntables and a microphone;” rock is a minority art.
