Little trees have their advantages. Both sets of my grandparents had little ones that sat on a table in the corner of their living rooms. Like Grannie, children’s gifts were an extravagance for them.
My mom has me move her fully decorated artificial tree out to her back porch and cover it with plastic. Then the next year we just move it inside and plug it in. Been doing that for over ten years now. Five minutes of work and the only decorating we do is to re-hang any ornaments that fell off during handling. :)
Our tree lives on the front porch. We do remove the ornaments, but it is too big to dismantle, and then we’d have to get the tractor and cart to take it to the barn. I’m with Granny on this one.
