I had a colleague breeding sterile tse-tse flies way back in 1966/7, but I don’t remember the dancing. But we were young then.

I guess they haven’t figured out a way to ensure only infertile males are hatched in the wild yet.It would be difficult to control, too, if they could.There just have to be better methods of entomological genocide!We just need more time.One thing at which humans excel is finding ways to kill things.

They also have small hands with short fingers.

Thats how the screw fly was eradicated in Africa.
