It’s amazing how a dead bird can become fertilizer for some new plants. You must have been gone for awhile.

If you buy “cheep” birdseed, you just might find a few pot plants in there.

Not a bird story, but the lines of asking for help with animals while away….5 day trip to DLand with the kids, ask “adult” BIL to feed my fish one time while we were away, told him new bag of food on aquarium, to give 2 TABLESPOONS of food, even left the spoon for him. We get home at 12:30AM, as I open the door I am hit with the odor of ammonia. Turn the light on and look toward the 55gal aquarium, it is so dark brown you could not see anything in it.I look at the food package, a 1lb bag, and it is EMPTY!!!I drain the water and have lost nearly all of my fish. Three fish and one eel survive, the rest…..became ammonia. Not a lot to be said for this person, but then I did ask him, so not a lot to be said for myself either!!

Baby and I went to visit grandma for two weeks. Came back and found two birds on the bottom of the cage. Husband forgot we had them. No food, no water, no brains.
