Reminds me of “dead like me”. How I miss that series. But, you can’t do a show of immortal characters when the actors age. Just the few years between cancellation and the movie changed them a lot.
In Ingmar Bergman’s film, “The Seventh Seal,” Death plays chess, not golf.
If you want to see the scene where The Knight challenges Death to a game, visit today’s post at The Family Plot Blog: http://thefamilyplot.wordpress.com/
The Discworld Death and Rat Death are my favorites. If you are curious, Netflix has two of the Discworld movies in their streaming menu. Just search Discworld.
That’s the worst scything I’ve ever seen. His left hand should be near the top of the snaith with his right hand holding the grip. And the chine should be close to the ground with the toe pointed just slightly upward and to his left. No wonder he’s called the Grim Reaper.

He’s had a lot of practice on that slice already! Don’t know if he can change it now….

Slicing? He’s scythe-ing.

Keep your eye on the scythe, fella.

All I can say is, I’m giving him his “safety circle” space.

There’s not much chance he’s going to improve his game, but we’re all playing the course with him, anyway.

Hmmm, this is a repeat. I’ve got a copy of it (if my club was a scythe maybe I could cure my slice too :))

Yes, they’ve been repeats for a week, and will be for another. Wiley is on vacation.
BTW, that is a hook swing not a slice swing, at least as far as one can tell from a single frame.

You want another Mulligan. Sure, take another Mulligan. Any thing your want.

At least in tall grass the scythe is a good choice and a lot quicker. I flagged xijing, the subtle spammer.

Oh no, he grounded his scythe in a banker. That’s a two stroke penalty for the banker. Let’s hope he recovers from the two strokes.

The guy with the scythe is Tiger Wood’s new career manager.

Watch out for his backswing or heads will roll!

Did you say a nice prayer before your swing.

He may have a slice, but I’ll bet he really KILLS the ball…
ses1066 over 14 years ago
Hmmmm … what happens when he whiffs the ball, it is golf after all.
artisanx over 14 years ago
But every time he swings, he gets a hole in one. Or he gets one in the hole! So, no matter who’s keeping score, if you play with him, YOU LOSE!
