My brother (Tabby’s favorite) has been gone for 30 days now. Last night, Tabby woke me by walking over me. I expected him to come up to my head wanting to be petted for five minutes as in the past, but this time, he surprised me by going down beside me and sleeping for who knows how many hours. This is something he does with my brother but never with me before last night.

I did not know that.

I cleaned out PetCo of their Christmas toys at 75% off. I’m putting together gift bags for everyone who adopts from us. Each bag has a jingle ball, a mousie and one other toy. It could be a crinkle ball, a laser toy, another mousie, a wand with felt – whatever I pull out of the bag.

I love the pics today.Eldo, the Russian blue kit was right up my alley…I’ve always wanted one, but the kitties available when I was looking for a new cat—-never even one Russian blue lookalike. (I don’t need papers…my grandfather referred to homeless kits as “alley-rabbits”.) Whenever I’m looking for a cat, sadly there is no shortage on “needy” cats…so I always end up with one little “sad sack”.I once got a cat even when I wasn’t looking for one. I’ve already told you about my Little Bit and the sociopath child, cat in one hand, brick in the other. I didn’t want her, but I kept her until she died. She was a loving, easy going cat much like LROS’s Moose.

Poor little Oliver is near tears because he got kicked out of the bored meeting. -————————————-——————————————————————Lulu is NO fool! She knows a nice cat tree when she sees it.
