Wait…. maybe it’s RUSH instead…..
What would be Ludwig’s answer be to Lucy’s question if she asked him? Surely not himself. (What composition is in the final panel?)
Music can really help you Haendel life.
That answer your question, Miss Van Pelt?Panel 3 is one of my all time favorites.
@TEMPLO S.U.D.: Beethoven Piano Sonata #8, “Pathetique”
Yes, a bit of the old Ludwig van
You asked for it Lucy. Everything to Schroder is Beethoven.
What did you think he’d say? The answer is “Lucy?”
How can you do any better than this?Or, this?Beethoven rocks!
Templo: a movement of Pathetique Sonata in C minor. I forget what number it is.
For some reason this reminds me of the story about the little girl who was asked what holds the world up. Reply, a turtle. Well what holds the turtle. Reply, another turtle. Well what holds… Look it’s turtles all the way down.
He’s right, and that’s a great piece to play when you’re really pissed about something.
He’s right – Beethoven was the one who clawed his way out of the Hell of his times to become a great overcomer.
Yet Schroeder never found the answer to “How do you keep a crazy fussbudget from bothering you when you’re practicing on the piano?”
Schroeder said it so loud, even Beethoven could hear him…
Good for you, Schroeder. Giving that nasty little whatsits a little of her own back.
Serves you right, Lucy. Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Hurray, Schroeder!!! Anyone else would have said; “42”.
Huh, Schroeder says Beethoven is the old aardvark. But Aardvark is the answer, whether or not it really is.
I love the drawing of the musical scale in the last panel. It’s fantastic.

Seriously, why did she asked Schroeder of all people? She should have expected that answer from miles away.
I thought the answer to life the universe and everything was “42”
