Right; better to privatize it. Then there can be a spectacular view for one rich person, and everyone else can be kept out by razor wire and attack dogs.

In Michigan there’s a tourist trap called “The Mystery Spot,” the real mystery is how they get anyone to visit it. I heard of one person who went and while they were wasteing their time looking at the displays an employee was going through the parking lot putting Mystery Spot bumber stickers on all the cars so they got free advertising from all the visitors. As soon as most people realized they’d been “tagged” they scrapped off the stickers, but by then it was usually too late.
