^ And our favorite “legitimate” news organization: Fox News, who, just like with ACORN, ran with a completely edited factless story because it fit the “white fear” narrative.

The “report” by the blogger was wrong, the over-reaction was wrong, and as usual, Faux is wrong, but won’t truly admit it.

The “news” business is largely dependent on out of context frauds. I don’t catch it all, but I did notice CNN was the first I saw to clarify the real story.

It is all the flood of right-wing “junk” the brings on knee-jerk reactions, and THAT is wrong on BOTH SIDES.

Lies are believed quicker and longer then the truth because a lie is designed to get an emotional reaction, and fit in with the preconceived beliefs of the people involved.

    Racism is based on lies.

No matter which side claims racism, take the time to look into the charge before you react.

Oh, Dan Rather was right, you know, but forced to step down anyway because he overstated the evidence. This guy Breitbart is a deliberate liar. Funny, if someone at the NYT had done this, FoxNews would be all over him. But this guy works for Drudge…

    Who is being MOCKED?

In the END it is a war of GENDER ….. NOT RACE!

Are females the weaker sex? Yes, because they are not winning this war….. and the war is over!

Are males who manipulated these females EVIL AND MEAN? Yes, because all females are mocked, and the males have won the war of the sexes… and become King of their societies mountain!

right on ken. every side in this debacle is at fault for inflating racial tensions to insane levels. I was visiting family in mississippi during the election, and until this election I had supposed that my family was a civil and progressive group, conservative and kind, then I heard them. my own mother using the n word shocked the hell out of me. then it was everyone I had known down there. it woke me up well and good. racism is more alive than ever. my mother has since said she was embarrassed, but was so angry about the socialists taking over. fox is her only news source outside of email. fact checking resources are all liberal owned. the powers that be on both sides really seem to own their constituents. never admit to your ignorance.

^Let he who is without racism cast the first stone…to quote dtroutma, who was quoting Jesus…

Although tensions and passions may cause some (Okay I’ve done it too) to apply stereotypes about others in an unproductive manner - if you want reconciliation (or just getting along together) - it may be better to focus on the source of that tension…which is ultimately two very different fundamental approaches to “self-government”. If I were Black - I don’t know if I could ever be persuaded to vote against the current Lib-paradigm. The same with the majority of Whites who are accustomed to the current or recent status quo ever voting for Barak Obama ever again. This is tragic, because in truth, neither side is without justified ctiticism of their performance.

But a pragmatist may say that my “known” evil is the lesser of the two - so I will vote for (insert preference here).

Again, we can tell by Cheryl Sherrod’s statements on record (and the responses by the NAACP crowd) and SoreJacks post…that the preference of Americans of any color - is to level undue or un-warranted criticism at the other…And I bet Americans of Asian background are laughing at all of us.

I sincerely hope we get through this all for the better…May God make it so.

Well, I for one have been painfullty honest about so-called race relations on a few occassions on this forum- and how many responses are ever given by anyone, ever? None. That suggests to me that Blacks are happy to make race about “politics” and whites are just reluctant to go there at all.

So much for a search for greater understanding - Like all Lib dreams it must be a lie. As a member of the “melting Pot” Generation that means a lot to me- all I’ve been put through in the name of “racial equality” and you findout all anybody wants, including BLACKS, is to be left alone and the freedom to be a bigot. And something free from the government.
