Love this. I have friends who live in the higher altitudes where it is still snowing. I feel very lucky to be in Texas Panhandle where we are hitting high’s of 70-78. Sorry (not)
I’m still looking at 60 cm (2ft) of snow in my back yard, but at least the temp is going to climb above 0 celcius todayMaybe next year I’ll go South and annoy those Floridans.snerk!
Is political discussion forbidden on this strip,or all of Gocomics? Just curious,I don’t care to discuss religion or politics at the best of times, and always try to be politically correct in all situations!(I am such a liberal don’t you know)
Several months ago, I wrote my local newspaper asking why they only published the last 6 panels of the Sunday Doonesbury strips (hadn’t known what Lynn wrote in her Notes before). I never got a reply. On a side note, today’s paper has all 7 panels of this strip; but, again, only the last 6 of Doonesbury.
-Glad to hear you won’t join the army descending on us; we already have too many northerners causing accidents on our overcrowded roads, insisting on using our groundwater to irrigate imported northern grasses on their lawns, and building homes right where floods periodically occur…
@ Mike GWeather anomalies take place over a period of weeks, months, years, even centuries,so we may never know for sure if what we are experiencing is in fact man made global warming.Sciece seems to think so,most world leaders are getting on board, even China for crying in the sink!Increasing your carbon output might make it warmer depending on where you live(some locations will actually get colder),many will experience drought, many species of animals, plants, and aquatic life will become extinct, the list of negatives goes on ad-nausium.I don’t care what it’s labeled as,fossil fuels pollute the earth, cause acid rain smell awful, and make it hard to breath! Short term gain for long term sorrow.

I’ve been living in Arizona for the past 12 years. What is this “snow” that everyone keeps talking about?

Yesterday, down here in TX, it nearly reached 80°—and a year ago yesterday we had snow. So it goes.
