I don’t get it? If he was going to cheap out, why wouldn’t he just buy half-price leftover valentine chocolates and save those? (There was many a year we happily celebrated on feb 15, when we were young and broke. Christmas is a lot cheaper too, for a couple, on say December 27.) Why would Easter need to get involved?
I was actually thinking it looked like a good idea, I’d much prefer a solid chocolate bunny over the little pieces that come in a Valentines heart. Until I looked at the comments, it never crossed my mind that the bunny was from last Easter.
