Yeah, with that kid, the odds are good….

Long ago, I used to babysit for a kid like that… but he was still a preschooler.He really liked playing alone in his room….. His parents said to let him…but warned me that when he was too quiet, I should check on him.So a little while after I’d put him to bed, I’d look in his room…. his covers were pulled up, his eyes closed, his breathing deep….

I’d go out to the living room, sit down, and immediately call out (not TOO loud) “Mikey, get back in that bed!”…and head right back there.

Sometimes he really was asleep…but usually I’d hear some quick scrambling, and a thump, before I got there.

4 or 5 repeats and he’d finally fall asleep.

Luckily, his parents were there, not me, the time he got up in the middle of the night, found some matches, and set the couch on fire.

It was time to check on my boys when they got quiet, my daughter when she was noisy (loud).

And I almost forgot…..

Odds? How about Ends?

I’m one of the odds. Can’t speak for anyone else here, though.

“What are the odds?” Well according to the “so-called sports expert analysts” the Broncos and Peyton’s A&&’es were gonna get ’whipped"!
