Arlo: Netflix has hundreds of titles we don't necessarily know about!
Arlo: The ones we see here are a fraction of their total library!
Arlo: These are the ones they think we might be interested in!
Arlo: A classic example of 'insult to injury'!
Computers know best! Hey, Mick Jagger said it back in 1967âŠâMy name is a number, a piece of plastic film, and I grow pretty flowers in my little window sillâŠDonât you know Iâm a 2000 manâŠAnd my kids they donât understand me at allâŠ.â
Iâve often wanted to be able to look through everything available. Hell my Blue ray player will only allow me to look through 75 items per category. And lets not get started on why they see the need of showing partial seasons of things. Perhaps I would like to see the first three season of the show and not start on season 4âŠ
Interesting, I am always looking for good movie sites as I like a lot of the older films (from the â30s & â40s), I have a Roku which allows me to access several public domain channels.
ARRRR! There be pirates here!Viooz is a pirate website that violates copyright law and steals from the content creators. While it is technically not illegal for the end-user to stream the content, the content was illegally uploaded, and using the site promotes piracy.Donât steal movies, kids.
How did you do this . ( Modified and used the cable system that was installed already to feed every room, front and back porches and my workshop out back. )
Google Netflix code, and you will find a list of their movies and shows by search code. Sometimes one wonât function, but sometimes you come up with real gems.
Had Hulu and all the fixinâs, but found that most of the remaining movies after I watched what I liked were of the smash, crash, & shootâem up sorts with plenty of F-bombs tossed thither and yon for no real purpose and so I gave all the hardware to a friend, saying âhere, YOU wear it outâŠ. Iâm done!â
comicsssfanI know what you mean. Our <10,000 population town actually has an organization of published romance writers! The library may have a dozen or so science fiction titles in circulation. And this is a far better public library than most of surrounding towns.
I started steaming a few months ago and my Netflix subscription is quite valuable to me. I love detective stories and their are many tv series of them made by BBC which are fascinating. I enjoy them much more than the US shows. They also have some great series that come from Australia that are also good. And of course, lots and lots of movies but I tend to like the tv series best. For $8 a month, Iâm happy! Try watching the tv series Wallander, Luther, Happy Valley, The Paradise.
Except they arenât just âpicking upâ the free locals, theyâre paying the locals to re-broadcast. Thatâs why when everyone had to go digital they only replaced one broadcast tower instead of the 4 in our area. âIt wasnât cost effective, all of the viewers the advertisers want to reach are on cable anyway.â.As for the argument that itâs not your place to worry about if the creator got recompensed for make the movie, thatâs no better than the argument that itâs not your job to speak up when you see a pick pocket or shop lifter. Sure, it may be LEGAL, but in the end you pay higher prices.
