I have no regrets about leaving where I came from. Something about retirement, leaving the rat race, to settle in a gentler climate has erased any longing.
A family member who lived first in CA, then moved to a small city in PA, working for a nursing home, finally retired and moved to a Florida senior area and is having the time of her life!!
Unfortunately, bad things happen everywhere; but there is just something about this city that is found nowhere else. I’m so glad I moved back to NYC! Tampa got boring – though the winter weather was nice.
