I’ve been reading Garfield on GoComics since the beginning of this year and must honestly say that it is an utterly abysmal comic strip. The same unfunny, uninspired ‘joke’ is recycled day after day after day – namely, Garfield is fat (except, if you look at him, he isn’t fat at all) and lazy. If you’ve read one Garfield strip, you’ve read an entire 40 years’ worth of Garfield strips – it’s the same thing each and every day.
