This not only happened to me, the cop searched my car! I was 60 years old and it was in Florida. I was going the speed limit.

And now the line start with me on that remark you just posted: NOT COOL!!

If you’re driving the speed limit that means your driver’s license has been revoked, you’re illegal, or you’re on some life enhancing assistance of some sort…

Right? There’s a section of street where I live that has like 2-3 posted speed limit signs that say 30mph but everyone goes 40 there. The other day I saw a police car sitting facing the street. So what do I do? Go the speed of traffic? Or go the speed limit?

It’s included in the Fourth Amendment to the US Constitution!

Oh wait! Nobody ever reads the Constitution any more…

I’ve noticed that the vast majority of speed limits are 5 to 10 MPH slower than is reasonable for typical conditions. The sole purpose of speed limits is to generate revenue, not provide a safe and efficient road system.

@James M – your dedication to a myth has nothing to do with speed limits, or reality. Learn to think critically and, just maybe, you can learn from your mistake.
