For the past two days, Bucky has been pi$$ing and moaning (some might even call it “whining”). about other people whining. Suddenly today he can’t say the word and is using “whinging” instead??!! Has he had a stroke? I’d take the little hairball to the vet for a look-see.

Whinging is a perfectly good British/Australian verb which means, well, whining. Perhaps Fuzzy is in a Victorian state of mind.

Hippos and talking kettles? Sounds more like LSD than pot.Although, from what I read, the new strains of weed make the stuff I smoked back in the 70s and 80s look like it had training wheels.

Rob is plainly not a cat person. So why does he have one?

Time for a new cat, the old one is getting a few Friskies short of a full bowl.

Ooh yeah, that is dangerous “calling” as in condemning with a name as bad as that. Like the mohel calling the rabbi Jewish. Or the priest calling the Pope Catholic. Get him Bucky, although you’re only part black anyway.

I always wondered how many American readers got the joke of Harry Potter’s house being in the town of Little Whinging.

“Whinging” is a great British term.

Personally, I’ve always heard the phrase as “the pot calling the kettle black”, rather than vice-versa. But, six of one, half-dozen of the other …

Plus, Rob does add an “or whatever” at the end, so there’s that.
