Since when do cookies expire??

Let us pay our last respects for that bag of hips Ahoy that gave its life so that we… we… snarf.

Cookies expire?

Expiration dates are put on products so that people will throw out foods that are eatible and buy more. This way companies can sell more products and make more money. These dates are not mandated and are wasteful. Use your common sense as to the use a product.<><me

How long expired? I’d probably eat them anyway.

Ya, that is the date when it is anticipated the aroma from the plastic will permeate the water.Sodas in metal cans do that, too, if they don’t explode in your closet first..I just opt for tap water and make tea, or fill my stainless water bottle.

How do cookies expire?!?! Become either soft or hard (the opposite of whatever they started as), sure, but expire?!?!

…because nobody likes dead cookies…You do realize they just put that on there so you will buy more cookies, don’t you?

I think it was George Carlin who once wondered why they put expiration dates on yogurt and sour cream. “Are they afraid it’s going to go good?”

Given that the person said “eww” in the first panel… maybe the cookies got wet and molded rather than “expired.”
