I wonder if Donald and Daisy are having the same issue that Mickey and Minnie had with Goofey.

I’m, amused by just how easily you could replace one Donald with another and still have the same strip.

Actually, 99% of the population would understand the motivation behind much of Donald’s behavior. He lives with his heart on his sleeve showing the wide gamut of emotions – fear, happiness, jealousy, kindness, envy, politeness, anger and so on. Goody-good-two-shoes Mickey shows only a one dimensional side of himself and he is the one that will most likely implode.

I always find it funny when two completely unrelated strips have something in common. In my personal page, The Grizzwells are right above this, and they made a Donald Duck joke as well.
