The political establishment steps out on its balcony to see thousands of protesters for Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump. Establishment: What part of "unelectable" don't these vast crowds of voters understand?
The Republican Establishment needs to wake up and get out of the way. They have denied the base’s wants and needs for a long time and they have lost credibility and power because of it.
With all the wishful thinking of “unelectable”, what does it say about both American politics, and the definition of DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC! Hmm, where all are giving equal rights and privileges, away, to the 1%, how do we fix THAT? Voting is now blind man’s bluff.
A year ago Bush vs Clinton looked like a safe if dull bet. Now we are watching a clash of popular movements instead of a clash of political dynasties. There should be some Cruz signs up – another outsider who gained traction from not being an established party candidate. The simultaneous revolts from the rank and file threaten (promise?) to reshape the American political landscape. Democrats are disappointed Obama hasn’t achieved more in seven years. Republicans are angry their control of both houses has yielded little. Leaving independents and centrists with unprecedented deadlock in Washington.
