It’s amazing how the same bears grow so much smaller as time goes on.

When my younger daughter was about 2-1/2, “Officer Friendly” went to her daycare and gave all of the children stuffed animals for Christmas. When I went to pick her up, I saw all of the kids lying down (it was naptime) with “normal-sized” teddy bears of various colors, but all about the same size as your average “Build-a-Bear” (just for reference). My little ball of sunshine came running up to me, smiling and saying, “Lookee what I got!!!”…carrying a HUGE, bright yellow stuffed dog; the creature was bigger than her! She turned 11 on Sunday, and “Yellow” still sleeps on her like an extra blanket every night, although he doesn’t cover her completely any more.
