My wife and I helped our daughter’s troop as cookie parents (imagine 130 cartons of cookies in your living room) one year, and we always put in our time at the booths with the girls (sometimes in very cold weather). Nostalgia now forces me to buy a box or two when the girls are out selling at my local mall or supermarket. And they’re as good as any other store-bought cookies.
I’d buy when the neighbors daughter was selling them but I won’t buy them from a co-worker whose pushing them for her second cousin’s niece. If you really want to help the Girl Scouts make a tax deductible contribution to them directly. Then you don’t get stuck with cookies you don’t won’t and most of the money you gave going to the cookie maker.

That’s as good an excuse as any. Not that I really like the samoas or anything, I’m just buying them for charity!

I gave them a donation, don’t care for the cookies and I hate Franklin Graham, he’s another doosh using God to justify HATE!
