Baldo: Look at this crazy video for making double cheese triple sliders! Tia: That looks delicious. Baldo: Can you make it for me? Tia: Look at this crazy video... Tia: It's a teenager cooking is own food.
My ex refused to learn how to cook and struggled after he left. I taught both my kids to cook in their teens and both are fine cooks. I love it when they cook for me.
When I left home for college I was already cooking meals for the family and when I got an on campus apartment I cooked all my own meals. I found out later that people would go out of their way to walk past my apartment when I was cooking so they could smell.
I was the youngest one. When my sisters were “out”, I was the one who helped Mom grind the corn for making tamales, helped Dad cook the Thanks giving turkey, addedthe oregano to the spaghetti sauce Etc, Etc..

Look a THIS video, a Hispanic kid starving to death rather than make his own meal. Baldito will never cook, so forget it Tia.

My 20 year old son learned to cook around the age of 12 when I had to work late for the other kids. Their dad was there but he doesn’t really cook.

This is excellent! My kids cook some, but as the oldest is 10, they don’t cook full family meals yet (at least, not regularly).
I think that’s important.
