This is legit hilarious.
Sometime things are too easy for Tarzan, he needs someone in his own weight class to go against.
It looks like Tarzan is humming softly to himself while he is cutting away.
Yup, no problem Toom. Everything will be taken care of soon enough.

reminds me of the old movie serials. Hero is sure to get killed, then he whips out a knife or some other deus ex machina we never knew he had.

Wasn’t a guy holding the other end of the rope? Is he on break? Tarzan so stealthily lifts Toom’s own knife, that the nasty little dwarf doesn’t feel it. Uh oh for toom! We all know what a bloodthirsty astardbay Tarzan is.
