Yes, @Liverlips, I agree that it’s deja vu! The last cel has a repeat of the conversation between Petey and Andre when Andre asked Petey to play soccer. Was that one of last week’s cartoons? (I couldn’t get the reply button to function!)

The only difference is that Petey says it was awful and Andre said it was hilarious.

So that’s where he gets it from.

Rather than chew his arm off, he should chew his leg off and Voila! problem solved.

Outstanding little subtle touches. I love Madeline’s tiny smile in panel three — and that she waited until after Petey’s sneak look at her in panel two to see if she had a response to his revelation.
