I just realized – a bit late – what yesterday’s strip was all about. There was all that hooey about Carla the spy bumping into Joe and his father in the diner and talking to them while remaining incogntio. That was strange, but I think the real point is that Ray, who is basically alone in this world, has a sister that he will probably not get to meet in person. Very sad, really.
